Frequently Asked Questions

Before using our services you will likely have some questions about how we can work for you – below is a list of Frequently Asked Questions to get you started but please get in touch to find out more.

1. How does it work?

It all starts with a conversation. We will discuss firstly what your goal is – whether it be more time away from the computer or training to learn how to do it yourself.
From there we’ll talk about your current systems and procedures, and how Bespoke can introduce greater efficiencies.
This will be followed with a scope of service detailing the tasks you would like us to manage.

2. How involved will I need to be?

You can be as involved as you want. We have years of experience in self management so you can be confident in knowing we have you covered. We can manage everything down to paying your suppliers and the IRD on your behalf. Likewise, if you still want to have your finger on the pulse we can manage things to the approval stage meaning you still have the final say.

3. What are your rates?

We offer a base hourly rate but we also offer fixed rate monthly fees based on the services you require.

4. What services do you offer?

Bespoke offers a range of Bookkeeping, HR & Payroll and Office Admin Support, all tailored to your individual business requirements.

5. What support will I receive?

You can call or email us anytime and we will also endeavour to get back to you within 24 hours

6. What is the difference between a bookkeeper and an accountant?

A bookkeeper deals with the day-to-day financials of a business, whereas an accountant interprets the information to create financial statements, assisting the business owner in making important business decisions.
The two roles are required to work together and often overlap. We aim to ensure your records are kept organised and compliant year round so that when your accountants do your end of year accounts the process is smooth and stress free for you.

7. But what if I need an accountant?

Bespoke Admin is a division of Affleck O’Meara Accounting Superheroes.
You can be confident in knowing we are supported by a team of highly qualified accountants and business advisors.
Should you wish to have any accounting work referred we can ensure you are looked after.

8. What software programmes do you use?

We are big Xero advocates here at Bespoke Admin, however we also have experience with most accounting software providers.
We work with many other softwares relevant to different industries that integrate with Xero, including payroll providers and CRM systems.

9. I want to do the work myself, is this possible?

Yes, we LOVE to train businesses to be more efficient with their systems and procedures.
We can set these up for you, offer you training, then send you on your way. (With ongoing support as required)

10. Is there minimum set hours per month?

No, we tailor our services to your individual requirements. If you only need us for an hour every 6 months to do your GST return – then we’re happy to help!

11. Can you offer staff cover?

We can definitely offer support to cover staff on leave, depending on time frame and volume of work required.
